Arrived in Foz do Iguaço on Monday, but very nearly ended up in Paraguay!!! We caught the wrong bus and only realised when the road sign said Paraguay, luckily a young man on the bus spoke English and helped us out by telling the bus driver and directing us to tthe bus stop that would return us to the town.  We're staying in a hostel recommended by the two girls we met in Belo Horizonte.

There is a swimming pool and the weather is much better.  We are sharing with three British girls - they are really great.

Didn't do much the first day, needed to catch up on some sleep!!!

On Tuesday we went to the Argentinian side of the falls, it was a day trip organised by the hostel.  The water is apparently about a third of what it should be, so not quite as impressive as it should be, never the less they were really spectacular.  We went on a boat ride in the river and under one of the smaller falls - got really wet - needed to it was so hot, about 37degrees, so we soon dried out.

Wednesday we went over to Paraguay, the shopping is supposed to be good there, we bought some sunglasses but didn't want any electrical things or perfumes - haven't got enough room in the ruck sack!!!

Thursday went to the Brazilian side of the falls - there was more water today as they released some from the dam or something.  The falls again were very impressive, there are supposed to be about 275 actual falls - don't know who counted them though.

Friday and we have arranged to go to the Pantanal for a 4 day tour of the wildlife there, we are camping so don't know when I'll be able to update next, but hopefully will have some more great photos to share.
