The beach at Incline Village

From Lake Tahoe, a week in summer in Incline Village, United States on Jul 29 '07

I arrived in Incline Village without a car, and didn't rent one because my husband was arriving two days later in a rental vehicle.  So for my first two days I was limited to things I could walk to.  Luckily, both Incline Beach and Starbucks were in easy walking distance of Forest Pines condos.

There are two main beaches at Incline Village, reserved for the use of residents and guests.   While they are nothing spectacular, they are definitely convenient.  The beach I visited, Incline Beach, boasts a small snack bar, shady trees, and play areas for children.  There are several picnic areas with big grills.

Convenient Beach

A separate section called Ski Beach has a boat launching facility, more picnic areas, a bocce ball court and volleyball court. A creek runs through Ski Beach with grassy areas and trees for leisurely shady walks. There is also a boat ramp.

I didn't visit the other beach at incline, Burnt Cedar beach, though I understand it  has a heated outdoor swimming pool.

Well, this one's a little, uh, thin, should we say. I still clicked that I like it :-)
