Exams begin…

We’ve kind of realised that all the work we’re doing has turned into more hard work for us than the children! The children have an exhibition on next week, so it’s full on craftwork. This means lots of prep work the night before and lots of help for the children the following morning! Oh its all fun and games! So today was making flowers and grapes out of many many circles which were then placed onto metal bottle tops! They looked really pretty after! 

End of lessons and in full swing of exams starting with Sinhalese, which Rachel and invigilated. Was interesting to say the least, with discipline slack and HUGE distraction with wood cutters chopping down the trees outside (didn’t really help!). So the idea of trying to hear a whisper in the exam was out of the window! Today we had NO WATER!! Aahhhh! Due to a few things, but managed as fortunately there was water in the kitchen we could wash ourselves with. So don’t worry we didn’t smell!
