COEX Mall is largest shopping center in Seoul & the largest underground mall in Asia with an area of about 85,000 square meters. This shopping mall is just underneath the COEX Intercontinental hotel I'm staying at.
It has countless shops, 2 food courts, a 16-screen multi-cinema complex, a world-class aquarium attraction, a mega-scale bookstore and the Kimchi Museum. It also features a game area sponsored by Microsoft XBox in which people can play console game systems for free.
The largest underground mall in Asia
Nevertheless, there's nothing here I could afford to buy. Things are so much expensive here. It's like 3 to 5 times higher than Malaysia. Now onder Korea is now the 3rd country after Japan & Moscow for it's high cost of living.
