For the Underworld, it's awfully chilly

Outdoor performances turn just about everyone involved into an amateur weatherman.  It's an overcast day in New Haven, and to add to that, it's downright chilly for June.  Due to the cold temperature last night, we moved our final orchestra rehearsal back into Hendrie Hall, nicely insulated by years of history and a coat or two of lead paint.  It was, of course, the right thing to do for the health of all the performers and instruments involved.

The forecast for tonight doesn't look much different, and we're all waiting by the phone to find out if we'll perform on the Green as scheduled or in Yale's University Theater.  Stay tuned for updates - the performance will happen at 8:00pm no matter what, though the location is a mystery.

Get thee to University Theater at 8:00pm

UPDATE 3:30PM

Get thee to University Theater.  We have received official word that the cold temperatures will move the performance indoors.  For you hearty souls venturing into this brisk June air tonight, the downbeat is at 8:00pm at the University Theater at 222 York St.  We promise a fantastic performance, regardless of the weather.
