After pushing ourselves to the limits in Manu it was good to get back to Cusco and civilisation (and a lack of Mozzies).

The next couple of days we spent shopping for Al Paca goods in the various markets and we also booked our next trip to Choquequirao, a lost Inca city high in the mountains. Well we didn´t want to relax for too long!

On the Tuesday evening we met with Matt & Mary for a really good Pervian meal followed by a few red wines at a local bar with live music.

On the Wednesday night before our trek we decided to treat ourselves to a really good meal at one of the best restaurants in town, The Inca Grill. The food and wine were excellent especially the Coca Creme Brulee, yum!

Next day was another early start 4.30am to head off to Cachora the starting point of our 4 day trek into the mountains...............

Hi you two Still managing to put up with all the hardships...how do you do it? Thanks for the postcards and another parcel. Have given James the mask, Alastair and James a black carved figurine and Clare her parcel. Was the Tshirt for Dad? Many thanks for my gift(necklace and earrings)which I had as an early birthday present last weekend when Ali, Clare, James, Uncle T (Auntie J was not well) and Auntie C came. We went for a carvery lunch and then organised the alternative xmas (going to be in Warwick this time) and of course, played cards and rummycub. Goes without saying that we missed you being there too. ali and Clare also collected their hot sauce from the first parcel...wait until they taste that!!!!
