Yosemite KOA - July 3rd

We arrived really hot from the long drive up the big mountain to KOA in Mariposa.  We immediately set up the trailor and jumped in the pool for cool down.  Water real cold but worth it all.  The scenery was so beautiful coming up the mountain and deceiving once the A/C was shut off to protect the engine.  Ojo's felt the heat as well along with Azuca our cat.

Next morning, Happy 4th to ya,  we woke up to pancakes, spam, scrambled eggs and fruit.  Fresh coffee for Bernice and a smiling chef Gabe.  We got all ready to go hike Yosemite-  And yep!  We enjoyed the whole hike to the lower falls and jumped in the small natural pools they had at the bottom of the falls.  It was cold but so worth it!  Ojo's jumped in the pools as well and was the ham for all whom passed by us.  Estephan was a bit challenged but once I told him we need the P.T. time because it would give us reason to eat some big burgers throughout the trip, he was game.  We enjoyed lunch at the local grill at Yosemite village and will soon share pictures.  The Varela's have really enjoyed this Sierra forest and togetherness.  Miss all of you!
