After a 2 hours drive on a very good dirt road (Tanami Road, it was really a blessing since Bunglesbungles) we arrive at Wolfe Creek Meteorite Reserve. 300.000 years ago a meteorite made a huge crater here from 850 meters wide and 50 meters deep.

When we arrive we are the only visitors. We climb up the hill and down into the crater. We walked through the crater to the other side and up the hill again and on the crater we walk! The weather is good, we are happy it is no longer 39 degrees Celcius, so the walking is really great.

Inside the crater there live kangaroos and there are flying a lot of birds around in the trees in the crater. When we walk on the edge of the crater Eric is suddenly stuck to a very large spiderweb. He shouts at me to have a look for the spider. You never know out here, because it could be  poisonous. I see the spider and it is a huge one, but.. fortunately he got scared to and has walked far away from Eric. Pffff so what have we learned from this... watch were you are walking hahahahaha Well it still was a wonderful experience to have walked on a crater.
