Zagreb

After a long train journey where I was feeling a bit worse for wear, all I wanted to do was check into the hostel then chill out. I had no problems finding this one, so that was nice.

After I checked in I got some food from the local supermarket, then realised I shoudl make something  of the rest of the day. Always get that need to explore as soon as I get somewhere new. So I walked around for about 4 hours and got most of the sights in the Old Town covered. I really counldn`t be bothered with any museams today.

Down in Zagreb

It all seems a bit of come down from Budapest, especially as my last night was so good there. Also I was back by myself now, so that is taking a bit of getting used to again. I met some nice people at the hostel that night, as we chilled out under the patio roof in a big thunderstorm. The range of conversation was amazing, as we had three English people, an American, an Irish women and a South African. Nice to hear what people think about issue on the world, and there experiences of travelling.

The next day, which is today (I`m up-to-date at for once!), I checked out after a good late wake up. I really couldn`t be botherd to see the museums today either. I just needed a break from things like that and exploring. So I have just seem back to back films of The Simpsons and Harry Potter (in English), so that has been quite nice to catch up with some cinema.

Anyway, my train to Split in an hour, so should head to the station. Hopefully get some sleep on it, as it gets in a seven in the morning. So another early one, and lets see what Split has in store, and hope I`m back to myself again after being a bit depressed here. Nothing against Zagreb, just in the wake of Budapest and then being on my own again, plus travelling catching up with me has been a depressing mix.
