Beautiful little town which I loved

So off we went on our second road trip with Wanaka our first destination. The journey was amazing passing through some wonderful scenery stopping off to view lakes surrounded by snow capped mountains.

Wanaka itself is a great little town set against the backdrop of Lake Wanaka and snow capped mountians. It was just beginning to gear up for the winter skiing and snowboarding when we were there and thus full of canandians!

While we were here we visited the local independent cinema which was cool and tried out some archery and rifle shooting, Criac (not crack) shot. Nuff said!

We also rented some bikes from our hostel and took a tour of the town and along Lake Wanaka, not knowing that 4 hours later we´d hardly be able to stand due to aching thighs! Yep its time to start doing some exercise and sure what better place than in our next stiop the adrenalin junkies capital of the world....
