Summit to Somerville New Jersey. Went to church in Summit. Headed to Watchung. Ate a large and late and fancy lunch at the only restaurant in town, overlooking the frozen lake. Pictured. Too bad you can’t see the mansions very well. And I say “mansions” here having already walked the length of Essex County which contains more gigantic houses than I’ve ever seen. Later, as I wandered into Warrenville and my ipod scrolled from the Beatles “Penny Lane” to Belle and Sebastian, I came upon a street sign "Penny". (Sorry I couldn't get a good photo of it) One might say that Penny Lane was in my ears and in my eyes. While I tried to get a photo, snow flakes were falling, as they did throughout the day, though the sun kept shining. I arrived exhausted and sore at my hotel at 7pm. Had a hot bath, a milky way, and watched Desperate Housewives.

Hi -- I am following your adventure and this is my first venture in seeing what it is like to communicate here. Remember that I am originally from the east coast. Have some contacts in Connecticut and Easten NY if your trail takes you there that may be willing to offer a bed and breakfast stop.
