Hi everyone,

After 12 hours we finally made it to Bangkok Thailand, we flew into the new airport which is just huge.  Our hotel the Montien was located at the end of Patpong road which is famous for its night market and sexy girl bars, where you can see ping pong, banana shows for a small fee.  Sunday we visted Mo Chit which is famous for its Sunday Markets which cover acres, you literally get lost it is very over whelming, and we didn't even buy anything, not that it would fit in anywhere.  Monday we moved hotels to meet up with our GAP Tour, we had the day free to explore and met up that evening.  We have a very interesting tour group, we will update with some photo's.  With the group we visited Wat Phao which has the reclining Budha, and did a canel cruise in a long boat where we saw how most locals lived.  That evening we boarded our overnight train to Chiang Mai which took 15 hours, and was a very enlightening expericence, especially the toilets which went straight onto the tracks, and you had to squat if you didn't want to catch anything off the seat.  Other than that it was pretty good, they looked after you well, a couple of the male crew took a liking to Kevin, I think it might of being because of his blonde hairy arms and legs.
