This evening, Stephanie and I took Miles & Mallory back to Disney Studios. The main reason for this was for us to see Fantasmic, which would be this park’s equivalent to the evening fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

We got to the park about 8:00, and all four of us rode several of our favorite rides again – the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the Aerosmith Rock ‘n Roller Coaster. We used some FASTPASSes we acquired the day before to skip the long lines for these rides.

The Fantasmic show at Disney Studios is a Must-See

We got in line for Fantasmic about 50 minutes before the 10:30 showtime. This is a very popular show, but the amphitheatre holds 10,000, so we had pretty good seats even though there were probably 3,000 people in line ahead of us.

Our “Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World” claims that Fantasmic is like no other production at any theme park. The book even goes so far to say that this one single attraction is worth the price of admission to the park. This show was truly amazing. No matter what you say about it, you would not be able to do it justice, but it uses water, laser lights, video, live action, fire, and explosions. The show itself lasted 30 minutes, and it was very entertaining throughout. We intentionally left Marissa with KK & PK tonight because she would definitely not have liked this show. It was loud, and would definitely be scary to a 3-year-old.

Today's Marissaism: While the Traveling Kings attended Fantasmic, KK, Marissa and I (PK) went shopping at The Disney Store. We had a great time and enjoyed an ice cream treat before heading home. As we arrived at the car, Marissa said "My stomach is growling for sleep". A Dad with his family walking ahead of us stopped in his tracks. He'd never heard that one.
