San Remo for the Day

We got up early one morning and took the hour and 15 minute train ride to San Remo. Unfortunately that weather wasn't the greatest and we didn't end up seeing much!

We walked around the city and spent most of the day shopping. The most eventful part of the day was lunch. We finally all agreed on a a place to eat and ended up sitting outside. As we were sitting there we had numerous man trying to sell us merchandise, you know...the ones you can bargin with! So first, Shauna, Miche and saw some purses that we wanted. So we start talking to the guy and he wanted some ridiculous amount for 3 purses. So we tried to bring him down as much as we could, but he was a fighter. So finally we said we weren't interested and kept eating our lunch - which then became impossible because he wouldn't leave us alone. I then messed up the whole deal and decided that I didn't like the purse and didn't want it anymore - ooops. So they start bargining for two purses. After 45 minutes Miche gives up and Shauna ends up buying herself a purse. THEN, John decides that he wants to buy a coat from one of these men....so another 30 minutes of bargining goes by and finally he gets a coat. In the meantime Miche is all upset because she didn't get to buy a purse. So we end up walking along the water and she sees the exact same purse that she really wants so she decides to buy it 10 eruo more expensive then she could have gotten it before!!
