Folowing Galapagos we were back to Quito for one night before heading out to Peru. The one thing that we had time to do was to to the Equator line (about 40 mins out of Quito) where we did some experiments at the Inti.. something museum which was absolutely great. There in this museum is the Equator line and either side the gravitational forces pull a different way. So we tested the way water ran down a sink on the North and Southern hemispheres (clockwise and anticlockwise) and that it went straight down if you stand the sink over the Equator- crazy! We wouldn´t have believed it until we tried it!

We also said goodbye to our new found friends and  went out for a good farewell steak!
