We were lucky to find an awesome guide, who took us around the island to visit some neat places.

We toured the country side, seeing old stone salt houses, lava rocks, churches, and daily local life.

Every now and then the clouds would roll in and then pass by. We saw many sugar cane fields, which was until recently the main industry, providing jobs and exporting sugar. Sadly, most of the sugar cane fields are being abandoned, for the easy work of tourist trade. Locals are turning in their matches and leaving the toil of the sugar cane fields to sell gold watches and perfume to the tourist.

Old stone churches still stand.

Be sure to visit St.Kitts soon, because as we speak, new large modern cruise ship terminals and fancy shops are being constructed and most certainly, St.Kitts will lose its charm
