First of all I would like to point out that I did not realize that there are so many Mount Olives in the world! :) That is amazing. Anyway...

I am very excited about this class and about our trip. From the first day of class Costa Rica appears to be a beautiful place with lots of opportunities for adventure. I am excited that the U.S. dollar is worth so many pesos...that means more shopping for me and Lindsay! :) I am also very excited about all of the events that are lined up for our trip. I cannot wait to see all the vibrant colors of the tropical plants and animals. I think it is amazing at how enviromentally conscious Costa Ricans are. That was an interesting fact to me.

I am very excited about this class and about our trip.

I hope to learn more about the culture and language before embarking on this trip. I think it is very important to be aware of a place's history, culture, and it's people before visiting it. You get so much more out of it and it also makes it a lot easier. I wish I had researched and learned more about French culture before I went to France this summer. I learned a great deal, but it would have been so much easier if I had studied up some beforehand.

This trip will be amazing and I know it will be here soon! It is incredible to think that I have this opportunity to travel and I hope to make the best of it!
