Day 7 - Malaga, Spain - June 9
From Western Europe Peregrination in Malaga, Spain on Jun 08 '07
We woke up this morning at 8 am and packed our bags for the train ride to Malaga at 12:20 pm.
We still had time to explore more of Madrid so we decided to follow the advice of Gladys and go to the Prado museum. It was full of wonderful artwork and we had the chance to see one of Rembrandt´s great works- It was by far the the best piece of art in the collection at the musuem. We also had the opportunity to observe the works of Raphael and other talented Spanish artists. After the museum we headed back to the Hostel to get our bags, and head to the trainstation; destination: malaga. It was a very comfortable ride, however, I (Shaun) had a peculiar looking woman staring at me the whole train ride. We later figured out it was a guy that had a sex change. Wonderful. We arrived in Malaga without a hitch and picked up our little car. Being use to the f'250, it was hard to get use to the clown car. We picked up groceries for the week and went to our timeshare overlooking the mediterranean. Taylor and I feel very spoiled at this point. Sorry everyone.
Goodnight.
