sand buggying and sand bording

arrived in ica in the early hours got taxi straight to huacuna and bumped into my german buddy felix and sharif (Israeli boy) i met in arequipa at the hostel straight away the hostel was really nice it had a pool and bar, i booked up my sand buggy and sand bording for 4pm that day, we went to the town of ica to get coffee fags and other provisions then we went to the oasis which is in the middle of all the sand dunes which was really pretty, we then just chilled by the pool for a while before we went for our trip, the driver was a lunatic with a capital L we must have been going about 150 mph over 100 meter high dunes it was like gettin an unlicensed cab from london or a licenced cab just about anywhere in south america, then we did the sand bording which was really cool on the 6th dune we surfed down i got sand burn but i did race an english girl and win so it wasnt too bad, then we watched the sun go down and headed back to the hostel, sharif nat and jeff two canadians we met all went out for dinner in ica then had a few drinks back in the hostel next to the pool i ended up falling asleep in a hammock and waking up with sun burn! but it was all good fun, im now in cuzco and off to go exploring here the bus journey felt like royal class after the skanky bus i got from puno to arequipa hopefully gonna meet stu and caz here tonight.
