we headed north through the entre rios province across the enormous parana river delta, roughly parallel with the rio uruguay.  there was lots of water, farms on islands and cows up to their necks in water chewing on pondweed.  we stopped overnight at this national park full of palm trees.  the whole area used to be covered in palmsbefore the forestry and farming chaps got their hand on the land.  nice if you like palm trees, but not much else except giant mice.  there were a lot of these.  they live in a casa rodante in the campsite and come out at night to graze and taunt the resident dog with their freedom to roam.  still un poco cold at night, sleeping bag and duvet required.
