London, first week

Hi everyone!

Arrived in London on Monday, 6.30am.  What a trip!  I can't believe how far from home we are.  Glen (Ross's brother) decided to take us for a walk, which lasted most of the day, to keep us awake and fend of the Jet lag.  It's a little cold, however apparently quite mild compared to last week (when it snowed!).  We have managed to work out how to use the Tube.  It's pretty easy, but sometimes a little crowded.  We spent yesterday walking up and down Oxford Street looking for Jackets that would keep the freezing temperatures at bay, we walked quite close to Buckingham Palace, but still havn't seen it, Ross is waiting for a "nice day" to go and do all that stuff, I think he'll be waiting a while.  We walked across London Bridge today, nothing much to talk about, it's not dissimilar to the "Captain Cook Bridge" in Brissy.

Anyways, hopefully we can get some pictures on this thing soon...
