We knew that it would be cold in Quebec City for new years but nothing prepared us for how cold it was the first night we were there. It was so cold that you could only walk a few steps before you froze to death.  Finding a restaurant that was within our budget was also a challenge. In the end we picked a restaurant that had good food and that was close to where we parked the car.  We also went to Valcartier Vacances where we went tubing and sledding. It was an amazing day and we could feel the pain the following day.  New Years was great in Quebec City, we picked a nice restuarant where the food was good, the entertainment was good and we had a great time.  If anyone plans on going I highly suggest taking a horse carriage ride around Quebec City it is worth every penny.  If you plan on going in the winter time, dress very warm because even the blanket they provide you with does not help.
