The last week or so has been full of travelling!

We spent 3 days on the island of Langkawi which was quite a relaxed place with a really nice beach. We hired out jet skis which was so much fun!! The best bit of this island was when we went on a tour of the mangrove swamps. We got to see huge lizards up close in the wild and went deep into this bat cave which was amasing.

Malaysia

From here we travelled to another island called Penang. There wasn't much to do here apart from laugh at all the lady boys ... and then run away!

We are currently in Kuala Lumpur which I really like (Malaysia in general is so much cleaner and nicer than Thailand). Its a huge place but full of random patches of jungle in the city centre ... very exotic! The first day we got here we found a hostel and having checked in we saw a sign advertising trips to the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix that happened to be on the same day! We checked it out and the next thing we knew we were sitting on a hill watching the race. This was an amasing experience, but to be honest you can watch the race a lot better from a TV as its hard to know who's in what position if your at the event!

We are catching another sleeper train tonight to Singapore. We have 3 nights there then we fly to Australia. I am definitely looking forward to some Western culture again (having spent the last 5 weeks using squatter toilets).

Going up the Petronas towers in a couple of hours ... they look amasing and have some kind of record as one of the tallest buildings in the world. Next time you hear from me ill be in OZ!!!
