18/11/06 Today Karissa & I were off to meet the rest of our tour group that we will be travelling with for the next 8 days.  We started with a 2hr bus trip to Dover where we caught a massive ferry over to Calais, France.  The ferry was huge and probably held about 2000 people if not more!  It has a gaming area, 2 bars, duty free stores and loads more!  We bought a litre bottle of Absolute Vodka for our tour and found a 4.5kg Toblerone that we took turns in taking photos with - the security guard was just giving us strange looks while we were doing this!!!  We arrived in Calais about 2 hrs later, here we met our tour leader and the rest of our group.  Unfortunately we didn't research the trip very well as we thought that it would be a young tour - wrong!!  We were probably 2 of the 4 only young people on the whole tour and most of the group were American - we were glad we were good friends because we were to be spending ALOT of time together in the next 8 days!
