We travelled to Seoul from Dunedin (via Auckland) on Korean Air - total of 11hrs! Barely made it in time for check-in - cos one believed that one had enough time to make it between flights.
The seat was small, the air was bad and there was no small seat TV (Welcome to Economy Class) BUT the food was great and we were going to Russia! :) And the air hostesses looked just like little dolls. I had been looking forward to this trip for months and it did not feel quite real.

Landed at Incheon International Airport - got lost - then found our way again. Taken to Hyatt Regency Incheon - part of our airfare as we were overnighting. Softest bed ever and best shower ever. I did not steal the shampoo (well..yes..fine..so I did..everbody does it). Had an awesome buffet breakfast - you want it, it's there (including kimchi). One ate the kimchi despite the prior knowledge that it would exacerbate one's GORD/other GI functions.
Departed for St Petersburg, Russia on the afternoon of the 26th.
