Cleaning! Again!

Ahhh.. as far as I'm aware, tomorrow is my day off.

Worry not, people. I'm not really unhappy or anything. Hardly boohooing myself to sleep at night. I'm still enjoying the fresh air, the lack of worries, the blue skies...

Hell, you know me, though. I'm forever restless.

Still... cleaning is not something I'd choose to do as a profession. a) because I'm crap, and b) because I'm not (at the expense of sounding like a weakling) the strongest person. Today I near blacked out on a couple of occasions. Reckon it's something to do with my crappy diet out here. It's far too expensive to eat properly (eg. purchase meat), so I've been eating a lot of cheese and ryvita, tortellini, and yoghurt. Ok, so not that BAD, but I could do with some red meat. RArh.

Today I didn't finish til 4pm (no break inbetween). I had 2 mobiles to clean and a reclean on a tent (you have to reclean every clean). Ok, so it's not quite as anal here as it was on Ranolien. For one thing they don't check your recleans, as they did on Ranolien (sometimes you'd have to reclean 5 times!), and there's no 'dust on top of plug socket' comments, so it's not QUITE as aggravating, but... sheesh... you walk in, and first you think 'Ahhh... not so bad', but after about 5 minutes, you realise it'll still take you about 3 hours minimum. Bummer.

Last night it thundered again. I really like thunderstorms. It feels so cosy to be in a tent and hear the pitter patter on the canvas. Just a pain to trek 5 minutes to the bathroom in the dark, and risk stepping in puddles, at 3am. Bah.

The weather is getting colder at night. I'm irritated at myself for not packing any warm or waterproof clothing. I have a pair of trousers and a blazer and 2 sweaters to last me. I'm going to freeze. So much for 'Haha, Italy? Warm clothing. I don't think I'll be needing THAT' *kicks myself hard on the derrier*

Oh well...

In other news. I'm sleeping a lot and still being unsociable. Probably this makes me unpopular, but I'm not too bothered. I leave in a few days. Paul left today to collect the rest of the demo team.

Ok, going to dash. Take it easy folks, and remember, I just like writing pessimistic stuff. I'm enjoying being out of an office and looking forward to the journey and experiences ahead. Saw some photos of where I'm going, in the brochure, today. Wow. Awesome.

xx
