At the mission house

We’ve moved into the mission guesthouse close to where Grandma and Grandpa Wiebe live. They arrived this weekend. It’s been good to see them and meet some of the guys they have befriended.
We saw the cousins march in the parade on Saturday. Every school marches, the bands play, the flag girls twirl, and the rest of the student body marches in their uniforms with their teachers in matching suits marching behind. Funny thing is, people come in swarms each year to see it though it loses any entertainment value in 15 minutes, because most people just march, the music the few bands do play is not as good as East Whittier’s beginning band, and nobody who is marching looks happy, they look bored and tired. But some of those drum majors sure can twirl!
At the guesthouse we have two rooms and are very comfortable, and still get to see the cousins and Aunt Lucy though we’re not living with them.
Today we saw Superman Returns at the big new movie center, the facility is top notch. The people there are also top of the class system. It was like a convention of Cochabamba’s wealth. All the cars that were not yucky were in that parking lot.
