Trogir, population 13,000, is a beautiful city and another inductee on the UNESCO World Heritage List.  The old town is small, but beautifully preserved.

Trogir was one of the many Croatian cities that fell under the influence of the Venetians beginning in the 15th century.  The Venetian influence is obvious throughout the old town.

UNESCO in the house!

Many of the buildings in the historic core date to the 13th century, including several beautiful Catholic churches.  Since Trogir is so small, it only took a couple hours to see everything, so we set off for Split, exhausted after our packed day.
