On the Monday we decided to visit the Magic Kingdom. The weather was hot so it was nice that there was quite a bit of shade around the park and places we could stop off and cool down.

We headed straight for the log flume and Neil even came on this one too, it certainly cooled us off and at the same time soaking us!! hee hee!! Chris, Andy. Claire and i then went on the runaway train whilst neil and helen dried off.

The whole Disney resort is like a fairytale both for kids and adults!!!

There is such attention to detail in all the parks which makes such a difference to the quality and enjoyment of the day. everything is so clean and the whole Disney resort is like a fairytale both for kids and adults!!!

We had dinner at Downtown Disney at a restaurant called House of Blues, lots of famous bands/artists play there and the following night James Blunt was performing. We had mixed views on the food, neils chicken was not that nice neither was claires meal. i had halibut which was very nice but the food did go cold quickly!

We headed back to the Villa for drinks and latenight swim!!

Tuesday we went to the water park, typhoon lagoon (part of the Disney resort). there were some new rides since the crowley family went years ago. there were some water rollercoasters which were excellent and you could go down in threes!! there was a pool which, every few minutes a gigantic tidal wave came which was good fun,  the boys enjoyed riding the wave!! us girls ran away from it!! there were loads of other flumes and raft rides that we all went on and it was throughly an enjoyable day. We ate at the villa in the evening and i made some excellent cocktails for the ladies, yum yum whilst the men stuck to the beer!!

Thanks for the great post. I am visiting Typhoon Lagoon for the first time next week, so I loved reading about it.
