Sunny again this morning. Our first stop today was at the Captain Cook Memorial site a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean, we could see Surfers Pardise across the bay. We then continued south stopping at Byron Bay this was a popular spot years ago for hippy types and there were still many of those to be found around the town. We moved inland a bit still traveling the Pacific Highway through agricultural land. We reached our accomodation at Coffs Harbour which was a beautiful resort Hotel near the ocean with a small golf course. We arrived there in the late afternoon so did not have time to enjoy the facility as much as we would have like to.
