The climate in Bahrain reminded me of Hawaii, which is warm and humid... my most vivid memory of Bahrain was the bananas (similar in texture and dryness to Philippine bananas) and the ice cream cups...
Only spent a few hours, roughly 1AM to 4AM-ish, so you can imagine how that went.
Oil is everywhere...
You know you're in another "world" when you see all those oil rigs and ships in the ocean just after taking off...
