Monterey, they give you free clam chowder

Right well this was just a lunch stop really.  We headed down the pier, had a few free clam chowder samples, then went to a different restaurant for some fish and chips by the water, which was lovely.  Monterey is a big coastal town, but there´s not a lot to do except visit the aquarium.  We didn´t.  After a bit of a wander round, we got back on the road.

Clint had told us to go to Carmel, cause it was gorgeous.  It wasn´t, and least we couldn´t find any of the pretty parts, so we didn´t stop.
