We decided that after staying in a hostel for two nights it was about time to put our feet up at our friends apartment...Sam Irwin came to our rescue in Masstrict. We had no idea what to expect with this small part of the Netherlands but it was a short train ride from Belgium and so nice to see a friendly face at the train station to greet us.
The town is very nice, with lots of shops and cafes...and bycicles!
Sam showed us around her little university city and took us out for a night on the town....The Dutch really like their bad 80s techno music!
