I'm actually in Natures Valley, right on the edge of the Tsitsikamma.

I arrived last night and was overwhelmed.I've just come from a seaside resort that frankly, could have been anywhere,and the contrast with here is amazing.

Its a farm in the forest with the most stunning views of forest and mountains.Great to wake up to!

It has a very "hippy" commune feel I really like.It has wood cabins, open fires and assorted dogs and children that all give it a very laid back feel. it seems that most people working here were traveling and liked it so much they never left.

Apart from a couple of walks in the forest, time was spent chatting,chilling and  playing pool to the wee hours.

Moved on to "J.Bay" as the locals call it.I must admit , felt i was in the wrong place straight away.It's a very young crowd who come here to surf and party.

After a nights sleep and things looked better, as they usually do.

The backpackers " Island Vibe",is right on the beach with friendly folks and it's a  nice little town with plenty of good places for a coffee and snack.

Got hammered in the bar with Gary who's here for xmas. We had a good night , Gary drinking steadily and me trying desperately to corrupt the topless surfer dudes behind the bar.

Had a wee bit of a hangover the next day!
