Something different

Neat city, definitely different from your standard London, Paris, and Rome.  You can feel the influence of the Moors and ongoing northern African ties, but also know that you are in a European city.  The city itself reminds one of San Francisco in its layout and hills, and it even has a bridge that is a nearly exact copy of the Golden Gate in SF.  Despite the hills, it's a small, compact city, so we found it very walkable.
