Where's your favorite place in the world?  Tough question for most.  I assume the majority of people would have a difficult time coming up with just one answer.  For me and my siblings, the favorite place question would have an immediate answer; the cabin.

Nestled in at about 9000 feet is a cabin that belongs to some of our relatives.  Ever since I was a child (some would argue I still am), our family would take vacations out to Colorado to visit the cabin.  Some of my fondest memories of the cabin was sitting around the campfire listening to Aunt Anne play accordion in the crisp Rocky Mt air.  We also spent one Christmas at the cabin.  Silver dollar snowflakes limited visibility to a couple feet while we cut down the Christmas tree that we would later decorate.  It was nice to have a Christmas outside of our usual traditions.

Our latest visit was with my sister Jenni and her boyfriend Dude America.  Dude America, aka Scott Boe, is a self created superhero name.  We let him live his fantasy of being a superhero while we played cards and drank beer.

This area of Colorado is filled with Moose.  When we arrived on this trip, there was a cow and her calf to greet us as we drove in.  Lots of photos were taken, even with the cow pooping--enjoy.

Hello Brian: How in the hell did you make amends with Tom Glancy? I mean, you were ready to kick his obnoxious butt a few years ago and now you're posing for pics with that dog? Jeez, you need to travel back to St. Paul and play some football with the gang. I saw Billy Wirth today and he told me about your excellent adventures. Good luck to you both and drop me a line at gkotars@mn.rr.com. Regards, George Kotars
