Kayaking the BVI's

The kayak and camp trip through the British Virgin Islands was definitely one of the best experiences of the entire three months and a magnificent way to wrap up the trip.
We met up at Mongoose Junction and were introduced to our fellow kayakers: Jean, Bill and Paul. After checking in and loading up the dry bags, we grab breakfast to go from a local deli and walk over to the National Park Service dock to meet our guide, Dave, and board the Sadie Sea for the ride over to Customs in Tortola. It is a sunny, breezy morning and after we chow on breakfast, Todd attempts to snooze off a nasty rum hangover from the night before. Once we reach Tortola, Dave, Todd and I jump in the dinghy with Captain Ben. We drop Dave at Customs to deal with the formalities while Ben runs Todd & I to Soper's Hole to rent some snorkeling gear.
