After settling into our hotel the night before, we both found it difficult to sleep. Certainly visions of hidden mickeys were dancing in our heads. So we both were already awake when the alarm sounded at 6am. Even though we were both tired, we got up, showered, packed up and headed down to a very crowded yet very stocked breakfast. We bought our bus passes and waited for the shuttle. As the shuttle arrived at Disneyland we could barely contain our excitement!

The Disneyland and California Adventures gates were all decked out for Halloween. Enormous candy corns, jack-o-lantern mickeys, goofys, and donalds, amd plenty of lights and orange banners!! Skipping down Mainstreet, Neka and I knew we were in for the time of our lives! Neka had done plenty of research and correctly headed us to the new Finding Nemo ride very first, which was still a 40 minute wait! Luckily I had the fast pass system in my pocket and snagged us a Space Mountain fast pass while waiting in line at Finding Nemo. An amazing revitalization of the once duller but fun 20.000 leagues under the seas ride. After that we were off! Space Mountain, Honey I shrunk the Audience, Indiana Jones, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean, the Haunted Mansion (completely revamped for the nightmare before christmas), Tarzan's Treehouse, Junglebook Cruise . . .

And then we ran to California Adventures and tried to get onto Disney's Toystory Midway Mania but it was already a 55 minute wait!!! So we settled for some other rides, leaving Mania for later. California Screamin', Hollywood Tower of Terror, An orange peel ride where we rode around like kids on swings to the sound of bees humming disney songs, shot straight up over 100 feet in the air, and then it was time for lunch.

We headed back to the hotel after lunch for an "adult nap" which was much needed. As the sun set, we headed back to the parks revitalized and ready for another 5 hours of fun!

Grizzly River Run, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, the Matterhorn, Fireworks, and then we finally went home as the parks closed. AHhh
