An awesome experience in the Chaco

There are a number of artificial ponds to store water for the dry season in the Chaco.  It is a big investment because normally they are served by a windmill too.  They are conected to water feeders by plastic tubes.

However, the most interesting part is that you can fish on them!  Ranch owners normally use them as mini farm fishing spots.  They throw some fish especies such as tilapia which are added to local ones.

It was a great experience fishing on one of them.  We caught 3 tilapias and 2 tarariras (local fish), and we had the opportunity to see a pair of alligators too.
