We left Vienna the next morning and began a beutiful drive towards the Austrian Alps. At the village of Krems we boarded a board for a 1 hour cruise down the River Danube. It was apricot festival time and we saw lots of apricot trees full of ripe fruit. As well, we enjoyed a wonderful view of the alps.
At the end of our cruise we had a short drive to Salzburg, the city where Mozart was born.
