We made our way from Nadi on the local bus to Pacific Harbour; it cost us $9 on the bus but would have been $100 in a taxi!
We were dropped at the Arts Village and Tsulu Hostel. We were made to feel very welcome by the staf and once we had dumped our stuff we were given a tour of 'the village'. We spent the remainder of the afternoon in the sun, by the pool - a lovly area with a ho tub, water slide and bit of a 'fake beach'.

That evening we were treated to another, particullarly long cava ceremony before having dinner in one of the cafes. We then settled into our dorm ( 40 bed but only 3 of us there!) and had lots of fun on the vibrating chair hat was in the common room.
Next day. Jenn was up early as she was hoping to do a shark dive. However, due to previous complications with her ears, she decided to give it a miss - it was a tough decision to make - the dive looked amazing! All was not lost though. That day, the 'RocMarket' was at the Arts Village, this was a big fete type thing. There were loads of locals with stalls selling local produce and handicrafts aswell as some delicious food on offer.

We watched the local culture show which included fire walking, which only the members of this certain tribe are able to do. We were also treated to some dancing and a mock fight between tribes - it was a bit of a pantomime really!
Not after this we caught the bus back to Nadi. We stayed another night in 'our' dorm and booked transport and accomadation to Mana for the next day.
