We took a week off of backpacking to spend a week with Matt's parents enjoying a safari around the northern cicuit of Tanzania. The safari itself was spectacular and there was little we didn't get to experience however, having the opportunity to spend time with family made this experience even better. During our safari  we visited Lake Manyara, The Serengeti (Thank you to the Panjwani family), Ngorogoro Crater, Tarangire Nat'l park as well as spending time in a Masai Village (where we took part in traditional dancing), hunting with the Hadzabe tribe, and a visit with the Datoga tribe. We will leave this write up short and attach many pictures. Thank you Mr and Mrs Nelson!

If you will be spending time with The Nelsons in the next month please hold-off on looking at these pictures as they would love to show them to you in person.

Thanks!

Would you beleive that there was a scorpion in our bathroom? Check out the picture of this critter that was lounging behind our toilet. We were able to escape unharmed.

Alisa, I have to give it to you... You have definitely become a brave woman over the last 4 months! How you sleep at night knowing that critter is behind your toilet is beyond comprehension. And, Matt, I like the hair cut!

All of those magnificant animals and you end it with a 'Mullet Man'. Brutal, brutal, brutal. Even more scary than the scorpion.

Oh, Alisa I received your email and responded yesterday, so hopefully you'll receive it with no problems. Amy :)
