In Puerto Rico for some reason...

a) Flying with American Airlines again

I knew it was a mistake flying with American Airlines again

2) Expecting to get to my destination after 2 changeovers from Panama City, on time WITH American Airlines

3) Expecting to get ANYWHERE on time.. or on the same DAY with American Airlines

So yes ladies and gentleman, I've ended up in San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico. For some reason I couldn't even find this on the real travel map, but you will see it is right next to Dominican Republic.

My flight from Panama City was delayed by 2 hours as we had to return to the flight gate after departing for some mechanical or engineering problem.

My flight from Miami was delayed for more or less the same reason, apart from the fact it couldn't be fixed so we had to change planes. This added another 4 hours to the journey.

Hence I arrived in San Juan having missed my connecting flight to Barbados

The next flight to Barbados (direct) isn't for another 2 days unless I want to go island hopping again with American Airlines.. ie.. I DON'T

I elected to go back to London.. fed up with this shit!

Ironically this also involves flying with AA, but its via NYC, so if I get stuck there, I can happily go on a shopping spree!!

I haven't bothered to say much about Puerto Rico, apart from the fact that everyone seems to speak English, many of the women are blonde, and the Best Western hotel and airport have really got to sort out their air conditioning temperatures.. its freezing when its hot outside!
