They say looks are deceptive and thats what i'll say about the sunny looking afternoon the day i landed in Newark airport. By evening (when we were planning to go for water jet-skiing) it started to pour cats and dogs and actually the forecast said it would that bad for the next couple of days (ahhhhhh)...so my cousins (with whom i was staying in NJ) and me ended up in a bowling alley (where i had my first ever gutter hat-trick)...maybe i was quite tired 'cause i hadn't slept for more than 24 hours now ( i haven't mastered the technique of sleeping while sitting in a economy class chair in a aeroplane).....dinner happened at 'Houlihans' where we all ordered a lot more than we could eat...

Next day i was up by 7:30 and by 9 we(my cousins and me) left home(from New Jersey) for New York City....we took a hop on-hop off bus....(it was raining almost till 1 in the afternoon which make things difficult if you are on a open top bus).....
this was a free tour which is conducted by people who were themselves involved or whose near ones were involved in 9/11
In between we got off at the WTC site and took a 1 hr tour from a lady whose husband was a fire fighter and died at the site ....she went all around the place and told about the building as they were and about 9/11 and the future of the site and also about her story....this was a free tour which is conducted by people who were themselves involved or whose near ones were involved in 9/11 ......it was actually quite moving...lot of people were crying by the end of it.... then we also went to Bodies which is a exhibition of human bodies from inside...i.e muscles , bones , etc...everything....it had real(dead and skinned) bodies on display...it showed things like your muscles , veins, arteries etc....lungs how they look if you smoke and if you dint (there were people who had written in the books at the end of exhibition that they had decided to quit smoking after looking at lungs)...then there were bodies of children as young as 9 weeks (which makes them as tiny as your hand) ..etc...i mean at the end of it i came out as a lot intelligent guy....

Evening at times sqaure and dinner was in a mexican resturant in Univ area (which is amazing place to be during evenings) you can find resturants from almost every part of the world out there.
Next 2 days went quite well with little rains and interesting sightseeing of NYC's Muesums, buildings, parks (specially central park )...etc...
Actually 3-4 days are very less to see entire NYC, but good enuf to have a feel about the vibrant city.
p.s.- read the resturant and things to do review also
