We took a stroll down Magnificent Mile. The one thing I noticed about Chicago - it is very very clean. At least downtown. We went to Grant Park to the Taste of Chicago Festival. Okay. We're tired. It's nap time. Yobo & the G decided to skip the fireworks so my best travel buddy and I headed over to Navy Pier. It was an amazing display! We were able to watch two displays happening at the same time. We were positioned just right to see both!
Then for some crazy reason (after the finale) I think...hmmm let's walk around and check out the Pier. OMG! We were heading towards the people and there was a SEA of people heading away from the pier. It was SO crowded all we could do was perch ourselves above the crowd and wait.
Fountains, Dresses and Revolving Doors oh my!
I ended up buying myself the most fabulous ring!
