In Oregon. Woohoo, no more sales tax!!

We left Garberville and drove through the giant redwoods.  Unfortunately, the rain prevented us from venturing out of the car and going into the forrest to find the larger trees.  None-the-less, these giants are amazing.  Some of them have survivied since the time of Cleopatra.

As we headed up the mountain passes, the trees looked like they had been sprinkled with icing sugar.

Tonight we are staying in Grants Pass with a girl Mandy went to high school with in The Dalles.  We are certainly going to enjoy the green vegetables Desiree is serving up to us tonight.

Heading further north tomorrow.
