Arrived to Lake Moraine and got all the shots. Just Beautiful- words can't describe it really. In trying to get a better shot, I decided to attempt to cross the logs and ultimately, lost my balance and fell in (Not too many can claim that feat!)

Then took to the trails to hike up to Sentinel Pass. 10 mins into it, I was giving up, but with some encouragement, I ploughed on, zig-zaggin my way up to 8,000ft. (By the way, this is a huge feat for me- the highest mountain in Ireland (Carrauntohill, Co. Kerry) is just over 3,500ft and I've never even climbed it!!)

Anyhow, passed plenty of signs warning us to "Stop and Re-group" as we were now in the middle of Bear Country! But, did we see any?...NO! After some lunch, 3 of us returned back down the trail again to collect Winston (The van), while the rest continued on to descend through Paradise Valley.

Then it was on to Lake Louise for the touristy shots and some icecream! Unfortunately the clouds came over and the world-renowned lake just didn't show off for us.

Headed back to Banff, taking in the Hot Springs, to ease our muscles after our 5+ hour hike, which was very relaxing. So much so that we treated ourselves to Domino's Pizzas which were demolished in about 5 mins!!
