the start....

Luton Airport was the start of my first trip to the Algarve.

Our flight was due to take off at about 11.30am, so we got to the car park at about 9am. our small journey was made more pleasurably by  a middle aged woman calling her mother 'mummy' all the time and fussing too much over he husband. memorable quotes included 'do you want some peppermints for your munchie bag', 'do you want a cup of tea when we get there' and to her husband -  'have you got a coat, you'll need it when it's -6 degrees'.  My mum told me that if I did that when we were older, then we would know about it!

In the departure longe we briefly saw Chico from Series 2 of the X Factor. not sure where he was heading to though...

Anyway, got through the airport very quickly and took off on time luckily...
