I arrived in Denmark Monday afternoon, following a 9.5 hour plane ride from Seattle, Washington to Copenhagen, Denmark. Then I took another short ride from Copenhagen to Aarhus. Since then I have been trying to get my bearings together and figure out the basics of the city of Aarhus.

So far I've found:

Who knew they would have a Burger King?

the train station

the grocery store

the mall

a pizza place (which doesn't taste like American pizza!!)

and a Burger King

Who knew they would have a Burger King? And it actually tastes pretty good- kind of odd they offered me mayonnaise with my fries though :S .

My living situation is a simplistic one, consisting of a bed, chair, desk and shelving. And it is set up like the dormitories in the United States, where you share a bathroom and shower with your floor mates. But I luckily have a room to myself! The location of my apartment couldn't be better, either- right in the city center. :)

My orientation/introduction week put on by the university is scheduled for next week. I don't know what to expect, but I hear it is a lot of fun.
