Still encamped with my family in Alexandria, I have kept myself fairly busy.  Reading a lot and watching a lot of movies, but here are a few other details and photos.  I have two beautiful little second cousins, 2 1/2 and 6 mo, who drop by every once in a while to brighten my days.  They've been letting me sing with the church choir, which is challenging and wonderful.  We went to see my aunt's choir premier a new piece of music written for Emily Dickenson's love poems.  We went to see only a few hours of the Bach Marathon- 5 hours of organ music.  Visited my cousin at Mary Washington in Fredricksburg and did some window shopping and saw a friend's gallery opening in Occaquan.

Our favorite musical director can't get enough of the Chevy Chase organ.

Hey Erin! I had a dream last night that you were at camp and were all like "sweet, hey, could you do this for me?" and I led a class with you. It was awesome. I'm sorry to hear about your ankle - hopefully it feels a little better and you'll be walking this direction soon. So I totally need a new hobby and think I'm going to make a "screamer," a papier mache monster. I was thinking about all the supplies that I need and started thinking about you - I miss you! Whenever you venture towards the west coast, we need to hang out more often. And build papier mache monsters. Because that's cool. Or possibly make a pinata- that'd be fun too. Anyways, I miss you, hope you're having as much broken-ankled fun as you possibly can in the East (they take 13 states to make a coastline, how very silly of them) and good luck in your journey, I hope to see or hear from you soon! ~meags
